OUR SUB-BRANCH WAS FIRST ESTABLISHED IN 1922 TO SERVE THE VETERAN COMMUNITY OF MORNINGTON SHIRE
Born out of the trenches of the Great War and the Anzac legacy, our objectives are to provide support to veterans and their families, acknowledge Australian Defence Force service and perpetuate its patriotic duty whilst encouraging conversation and mateship between those who have served and their communities.
A crucial role of the RSL is also to appropriately commemorate those who have suffered and died in service of our nation or its allies.
To achieve these objectives, Mornington RSL has a new committee of younger veterans who have recently taken over the reins of the Sub-Branch.
Our committee is entirely made up of veterans and they are:
Navy Veteran – Meryn Cooper-President
Army Veteran – Paul Pastulovic-Vice-President
Army Veteran – David Howell-Secretary
Army Veteran – Matty McLear-Treasurer
Navy Veteran – Ian Walker-Welfare Officer
Army Veteran – James Farquharson-Appeals Officer
Army Veteran – Graeme Savige-Membership Officer
Army Veteran – Dean Barber-Committee Member
